The command center

Set up one central place you see every day, so important information stops depending on your memory: location, core zones, update rules and a weekly reset.

Before the center comes the purpose. A well-organized command center is useless if you do not know why you are moving forward. Three questions come first:

Once these three points are settled, the command center becomes the anchor that lets your activity take off: it gathers what matters in one place. It is a central concept of productivity. Without it, your tasks, goals and ideas are scattered everywhere, and your energy drains away across days where you move on everything and finish nothing.

When important information lives in your head, every forgotten item adds to the last. A command center takes that information out of your memory and puts it in one fixed place you pass without having to look for it.
